A QUESTION TO PASTORS

A QUESTION TO MY PASTOR:
Accepting Jesus is the best thing that can ever happen to a man. As a matter of fact, a man who turns away from evil to Christ has not Christ a favor but has done himself and his generation a great favor. The gospel simply means good news. My question now is why do pastors ask everyone to close his/her eyes when calling out for new convert? why do they make gospel a shameful thing by telling the church to close their eyes before someone could accept Jesus into his life? i realize that it has now become a normal norm whenever an alter call is to be made. someone who wishes to change from his old nature would have to look right and left to see if someone sees him ready to accept Christ or not. while some would stylishly wait for others to come out first to be sure that they are not the only one ready to change from their old nature, some would be to shameful to come out at all. they would rather not signify their readiness. My bible says that whoever is ashamed of Christ on earth, God too would be ashamed of him. lets stop this hypocrisy in church and let's the people know that accepting Christ is the best thing that can ever happen to them. let the church see that people are been converted and let them rejoice over it. there is nothing to be ashamed of!

LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH!

LOVE IS NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT IN MARRIAGE:
I have come to realized that all we need love for is to get a marriage partner and to commit ourselves into the marriage institution but the same love will not keep our marriages. Research shows that 80% of broken marriage today all started with love. they had once thought and concluded that they were married to their perfect partners. before a woman would say YES to a man, she must have had the illusion that she was getting married to the MR RIGHT in the name of love. And also, for a man to have decided to propose to a lady, then he must have had the conviction that he truly loves her and would want to spend the rest of his life with her. lo and behold, life is not a plate of gold...and the reality of marriage is far from the foundation of love. show me a divorced woman who did not loved her ex-husband dearly as at when saying YES. So, what do we need to keep our marriage or to simply make it work? we need understanding and tolerance. for you not to use the same mouth you used in saying that your wife/husband was the BEST and now say that he/she is a BEAST. for you not to ask urself you got married to that person knowing full well that u married him/her becos u loved him/her. Pray for understanding and supernatural tolerance as marriage brings to you the reality. THE MAN/WOMAN YOU KNOW YESTERDAY is not the same man/woman you know today and will never be the same tomorrow. I pray that God grants you divine understanding and supernatural tolerance so that your LOVE will not become ONCE UPON A TIME!
